ACT Genomics Hong Kong office was established in January 2017 to meet the growing cancer needs in Hong Kong. The Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) laboratory at Hong Kong Science Park was opened in July 2019 to provide better support in the region.
In Hong Kong, there were 33,075 new cancer cases diagnosed in 2017, which increased 2.8% annually according to The Hong Kong Cancer Registry. The top 5 cancers in 2017 were colorectal cancer (17%), lung cancer (15.7%), breast cancer (13.3%), prostate cancer (6.8%), and liver cancer (5.5%).
We are a team of experts with years of experience in oncology, cancer genomics and bioinformatics; aiming to provide treatment guidance and disease monitoring with better precision for cancer patients.

2019.07.04 & 24  ACT Genomics Hong Kong Lab Grand Opening

ACT Genomics opened its third Next Generation Sequencing laboratory in Asia at the Hong Kong Science Park on July 4, 2019. Cocktail reception and lab tour were held on July 24.
